A gel bath is for anyone who wants stronger natural nails without adding length. The gel is applied over your own nail in thin layers, creating an even surface that protects the plate from breakage and peeling. The length does not change: the nail is still yours, it just copes better with everyday life.
It is the best fit for thin, brittle nails or nails that peel in layers — a common picture after long periods of wearing extensions, after removing gel at home, or with frequent exposure to salt water and chlorine. A gel bath buys the nail time to grow without snapping at the tip, which is usually the missing piece.
The appointment includes cleaning and preparation, primer and base, structure gel in layers, LED curing and the final finish. If you want colour, gel polish goes on top of the gel bath in the same session. We also explain how to track progress: in general two or three maintenance visits are enough to notice the difference in strength.
It is important to set the expectation: a gel bath protects and supports, but it does not make the nail grow faster and does not instantly repair older damage to the plate. What it does is stop the nail from losing length to breakage, and that continuous protection is what lets you watch the nail gain length over two or three cycles. If the plate shows lifting, discolouration or pain, we assess first and may recommend waiting or getting clinical advice, because applying product over an unresolved problem only hides it.
