Gel polish is the service most requested by people who live or work in Campeche and need their nails to look finished all week long. The appointment starts with an assessment of the natural nail: we look at the thickness of the nail plate, the condition of the cuticle and whether there is any lifting left from a previous service. Only then do we choose the base, because a thin nail and a strong nail need different products and a different number of layers.
The product is applied in thin layers, following the natural curve of the nail and never touching the skin. Each layer is cured under LED light before the next one goes on, which prevents bubbles and the thick look that appears when gel is applied too heavily. The finish is sealed with a top coat, and you leave the studio with completely dry nails — there is no drying time and no risk of smudging the colour on the way home.
At the end of the appointment we explain how your routine affects durability. If you wash a lot of dishes, work with cleaning products or swim in the sea often, regrowth tends to show sooner, and that changes the ideal interval between visits. This guidance is part of the service and is never charged separately.

Aftercare
- Wear gloves for washing dishes and cleaning with chemicals: prolonged contact with hot water is the main cause of lifting at the edge.
- Moisturise the cuticle every day with a dedicated oil, ideally before bed.
- Do not use your nails as tools to open cans, peel off labels or pry things loose.
- Do not file or trim the gel at home: if it chips, send a photo on WhatsApp instead of trying to fix it.
- Never remove gel by pulling or peeling it off, as that takes layers of the natural nail with it.
- Come back for maintenance as soon as regrowth shows at the base, without waiting for full lifting.
